A friend posted this on Facebook this morning. I know I've heard it before, but today it hit me especially hard. Last week a friend of mine lost her sister to Type 1. Yesterday another friend had a second son diagnosed with Type 1. There are so many things I wish for these families and all the families I love out there in this big world...but my biggest wish is for the children, related perfectly in the video below.
Come on...we were all due for a good cry anyway.
Love you!

Ok, I saw this on FB this morning and made the decision not to watch it yet.
ReplyDeleteTHEN you go and post it on your blog, and I watched it, and am balling my eyes out! And then Zane comes up and asks me "Mom, what's on your computer that is making you cry?" Then I cry harder!
Thanks for sharing. I will save the link to this for when I really need that cry!
Dang it. I wasn't going to cry.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this. That should be JDRF's theme song!
ReplyDeleteHe didn't mention singing career...he might have one after that!
Pass the tissues, please. You got me back ;) (referring to the link I posted last night)
ReplyDeleteThat was beautiful, thanks for sharing. I might have to re-post it on FB later.
Thank you Meri.
ReplyDeleteThe pregnant lady will not cry. The pregnant lady will not cry. The pregnant lady will not cry.
ReplyDeleteNope. Didn't work. Thanks for this. Luv you!
I saw this a few years ago....and it still made me cry today.
ReplyDeleteI guess somethings just stay heavy on your heart.
*sniff* Thanks, Meri! Needed that!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Thanks for sharing this Meri. How in the world did they make it singing that song all the way through without crying?? I didn't make it through the first verse!

ReplyDeleteHeavy Heart...no tears...just hoping some day...some day our little guys become "big" guys without complications from this high maintenance monster...and perhaps that... that, that someday can be a little less labor intensive to get "good" control in a safe manner.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!!!
Just so sweet. i really loved the way the little boy keeps glancing at his mum but clearly feels confident and is basking in doing this with her.
ReplyDeleteI did cry, but then I cry very easily! The bit about strong legs etc etc was where I began blubbing...
