So I was nodding my head when you said you did one finger check to compare!! LOL And I suppose they were similar? Heck, maybe I'll try checking my toe - just for variation!!Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03836215891806148229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5248101319829846491.post-41531167826229398852012-02-01T14:29:23.336-08:002012-02-01T14:29:23.336-08:00The sign is fantastic - and he slept through it! Every now and then you'll hear it shouted out in our house "check a toe!" Usually it is followed by a "Really? Uh, no I don't think so." But the point is definitely there. Sometimes we just want to give those fingers a break. It's not like those "you can check on your arm" methods ever really work. Not for us anyway. When given the choice, she will usually choose to have her toes tested. They told us to use both when she was first in the hospital at diagnosis. Gives you twice as many places to rotate between, so the fingers don't get as sore.Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06267698588317677869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5248101319829846491.post-85785715943906402402012-01-30T13:02:55.779-08:002012-01-30T13:02:55.779-08:00We've never tried testing on the toes, but I t...We've never tried testing on the toes, but I think we'll have to now!

(And I love the note with the "ps. I practically have to climb over the railing to fish her hand out from under the covers when I come to check her on my lunch break. Maybe toes would be a good idea - or maybe the suggestion could get her to turn back the right way in the bed...lol!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11387778178238442095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5248101319829846491.post-28990624443625836262012-01-30T09:41:51.229-08:002012-01-30T09:41:51.229-08:00I have been wanting to try this for awhile now, bu...I have been wanting to try this for awhile now, but can't get up the nerve.
